Copies of the instrument mentioned below are for sale. Only available in blank, transparant red or transparant green. Blue is an exclusive color for the first proto-type and my own copies.

 

For people who have not very much money, I regularly give building workshops. Try to catch one of those and you can have your own Home Swinger for about 125 Euro. Also a 2nd workshop Quick Steps Electric 12 tone Kalimba is available for 85 Euro.

 

Circulation of the intruments

IÕm having a few instruments in stock for purchasal. Not sure if I continue serializing, since I prefer to make as many different models as possible for my own excitement.

I make very little amounts of guitars yearly, approximatelly 10 per year, and I mainly focus on performances and workshops booked by Julie Tippex. Some orders will take about 6 months, but most of the time one year. Some of the instruments are already finished and can be bought immediatelly though.

I try to keep the models exclusive to ensure the instrument is a good investment as a collectable object for the purchasor. Take a look at the E-bay prices of the Gittler Guitar or the Fender Swinger and you will understand the future market value of small-serialized guitars, especially when they are odd and famous. ItÕs similar to collecting stamps, but a lot more rock Ôn roll. Although I must admit the Inverted Jenny is a pretty wild stamp! Not sure if I can compete with that.

 

Future products

IÕm currently working on a long wood lamellophone (2 meters), an 8 channel clock string drum and electric chorus bells.

John SchmersalÕs proto has an all covered pickguard on his own special request. All copies have a similar pickguard like my own copy and the Springtimes. He also has a lipstick pickup near the neck. This was his. I donÕt have access yet to purchase those pickups for the replicaÕs.

 

I strongly recommend the Twister above the Springtime, since I consider this one an improved version of the Springtime for itÕs extended tail piece.

The headstock pickup is hand made, the body pickup (only present in the stereo version) is a high quality 8ÕÕ Lollar pickup.

 

 

Tafelberg

The pickups are handmade 3 pole single coils. The Tafelberg have 3 outputs for the 3 string part fields, but can be switched to mono as well.

 

 

 

 

 

Home Swinger

DIY-kid for about Û125,-. Only available at building workshops. I donÕt sell these per instrument.

 

The instrument is employed with a good quality pickup (Fender quality). The machine heads are open system like on a acoustic guitar on the Û120,- version.
