Julie Tippex is a booking agency focused on first generation
No Wave artists and alikes from the early 80s as well as a just as wild list of
new artists not fitting in any regular roster or musical genre. If you prefer
to search beyond borders, her list of bands is a recommendation to check out
and book for your festival/venue. IÕm keen on James Chance, Mahjongg and Nite
Jewel in particular. Other rememberable names are Faust, Enki Bilal, Jeremy
Jay, The Chap, Vivian Girls, These Are Powers.
The agency is closely connected to the French agency Disco
Babel, which also arranges workshops and presentations for me in Europe.
