Gonzo (circus)
Gonzo (circus) is a bimonthly independent magazine on new
music and culture. One of the few still existing Dutch magazines, this one
focuses broadly on in depth information about avant garde rock and pop.

Inspired by Hunter S. Thompson we bring quality
information in Dutch about non-commercial and avant-garde music from home and
abroad since 1991. The attention goes to the kaleidoscope of contemporary music
styles: from jazz and improv, contemporary classic and guitar rock to
industrial noise, experimental electronics to joyful pop music or world music.
Starting from the idea of cross-fertilization and also being convinced that
music isn't isolated in society, we also pay attention to novels, comics,
movies, theater, the plastic arts, video art, essay, new media, design and
society-related issues.
