Chaos Š Order Š Chaos

This image above expresses balances occuring in nature. ItÕs a paradox where chaos becomes shaped to order and again fades into chaos. My 3rd Bridge Helix article explains the appearance of this balance occuring in sound and music. The early people derived a proper musical scale from chaos, mainly based on just intonation scales (this can be considered the flat line in time, until Pythagoras came and developed his scale (the appearing bulb in the middle of the picture), followed by the emancipation of the dissonance of the Western Classical Musical area. That development is written in many musical theory texts, although not referred to this image. As Ray Tomes expresses on YouTube these kind on images are universal. The weird outcome of my essay explains it is not always ending in noise and new order can appear at a 2nd level. Like the mathmatical difference between X and X2, electricity created this paradoxal new stable level of consonance in itÕs dissonant spectrum and experimental rock and noise rock created a new order of objective pleasant sound (like said, itÕs a paradox, it is harsch as well).

 

This harmony-noise paradox could also be compared with the famous Mšbius ring as can be seen below, where the inner is equal to the outer space of the ring. Chaos is equal to order.

 

This image is drawn originally by Escher. The ring was invented by August Ferdinand Mšbius around 1800. There are many fascinating 3D images which are variantions of this ring. In contradiction to the legged cubes of Escher, all these Mšbius-like patterns exist for real as objects. Often used in abstract sculptures and jewelry, but also appears in molecule structures and the shape of some snail shells and sea shells are not far distanced from it as well allthough not recognized as clearly a visual paradox immediatelly.

 

Also the torus shape (mainly known as donut shape) is such inside-outside paradox.
